G.Langenhoven and Associates CC is a leading exporter,  supplier and distributor of products to the African market. We developed our own brand, Amiga, under which we export maize meal and dairy products. The brand is well established in our markets and generally commands a premium price, because customers know our brand is reliable and consistently delivers quality. Copyright for this brand is registered to our company, for all markets in Africa.

All goods that are exported under own brand Amiga have both Portuguese and English labeling, to comply with government regulations for Angola and other West African markets.

Products we export include:

  • Maize Meal
  • Fruit and vegetables
  • KWV Wines & Liquor
  • A variety of other products, including dairy, eggs, chicken feed and bread flour

We can source other products on behalf of our clients to satisfy needs not covered by these product categories

We have been doing business since 1990 and our company was officially registered in 1999.  We are fully compliant with all South African export, tax and financial regulations.  Over time, we have gained valuable experience, elevated quality and service levels and improved efficiency.  Having a rich, long history means that we are established and stable in African markets, where things are often done differently to other international markets. We strive to develop long-lasting and trusting relationships with our clients and gladly offer input and advice, based on our experience, to help clients.

A variety of inspections are done before goods are loaded for export, to ensure consistent quality and comply with export regulations.  We have extremely competent forwarding agents as well as quality controllers on our team.  Paperwork is done with accuracy and we strive for clients to receive all required documentation well ahead of goods arriving at their destination, thus limiting port costs.  Due to our longstanding relationship with the shipping lines, we offer very competitive shipping rates and can arrange that no container deposit is payable before customers can clear containers.
